Deborah A. Shea, Founder, D.A.S. Consulting
Human Resources Consultant and Executive CoachDeborah Shea specializes in organizational development, human resource consulting and executive coaching. With nearly twenty (20) years of business experience, Deborah brings a broad-based background to her clients, helping them identify and leverage their strengths in order to maximize their highest potential.
Prior to establishing D.A.S. Consulting, Deborah held senior management positions in the advertising and communications sectors, where she was instrumental in leading the reorganization of personnel, as well as the cultural integration of companies and departments during mergers and management changes. In addition, she was also responsible for spearheading numerous large, strategic staffing and recruitment efforts for such accounts as Sprint, IBM, General Motors and Kraft/Philip Morris, while working for her former employers.
Deborah was Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for MediaVest and Starcom MediaVest (SMG), the world’s leading media resources group. While there, she focused on blending the cultures, talent, intellect and business philosophies of three disparate business units into one cohesive organization. She also held positions of Vice President, Human Resources, at Modem Media/Poppe Tyson, a digital marketing company and J. Walter Thompson, a global advertising agency. Deborah’s current consulting practice spans across both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
Deborah’s particular strengths and areas of expertise focus on organizational development, performance coaching, selection and retention, behavioral interviewing, conflict resolution, change management and team building. She works seamlessly with all levels of management, across groups or in one-on-one settings and strives to incorporate her down-to-earth, yet professional style in all avenues of her business.

Deborah is known for providing clear, open and honest communication and works tirelessly with her clients to break through any barriers to achieve success.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware and is a graduate of the Executive Coach Academy. She is on the Board of Directors for the New York Chapter of APT (Association for Psychological Type), is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is certified in numerous management assessment tools. Deborah volunteers her time as a “Kid Coach” through Future Possibilities, an inspirational organization dedicated to the empowerment of children.
